The storm has passed and we've had one of those beautiful calm days you often get after a gale. There's remarkably little damage around where we live, although there are branches strewn everywhere.
This is right in the city! This is the park that I live next to :) Despite being a very industrial city Glasgow has always had a lot of parks and open space. The original 6th century monastic centre that the city is based on was known as The Dear Green Place and that name is still associated with the city today.
Yes it is a very typical British park :) We're very lucky to have lots of beautiful parks in Glasgow :) Pollock Park which is just down the road from me is probably my favourite.
