So near but yet so far

So, its 02.00 am. I left home at 05.45 this morning, well yesterday morning I suppose, for a meeting in London. Flew home at 21.30 and discovered Glasgow airport closed, flew about for a while until fuel ran low, diverted to Edinburgh, waited around for an hour or so, bussed all the way back to Glasgow airport, waited around some more, this time in the snow for a taxi, finally made it home. Joy.

Still on a more positive note at least I was able to pass the time writing smut! ;)

Geez, that sounds like a nuisance. Passing the time in writing is always good, but still, waiting about and having to taxi and bus around sounds like a pain. Good thing you made it back in the end.

Really you have no idea what a nuisance it was. Not what you need at the end of a long day. Think I've finally warmed up now, so I can go to bed without shivering! I'll try and finish the fic later in the week :)

Partner is on nightshift for next couple of nights so I'll try to finish it then. Seems inconsiderate to write smut when he's about. Daft but true!
