Three whole days!

Tomorrow morning I am off down south to spend the weekend with nodbear :D Partner has very kindly agreed to look after daughter so I can spend three whole days doing Navyboy research. Isn't that fab?! I owe him big time :)

Our main aim this weekend is to draft our presentation for the New Researchers In Maritime History conference in March and to set up a public blog to post the research we've been doing. However I have no doubt we will also find time for squeeing, nonsense and pestering folk on LJ! And of course we're also looking forwrad to meeting up with esmerelda_t for lunch on Sunday. I hope she doesn't bring Bartholomew, otherwise there may not be any lunch left for the rest of us....

(And it seems like a break from your job will do you some good. Does not sound like you are having much fun with it now.)

Nodbear talked to me a while ago about me getting Skype. I am going to make that happen. Maybe come the spring we can all talk with our voices.

And yeah, a break form work will be good right now. It's not a huge amount of fun at the moment and February is going to be insane.

I was going to ask if you had skype set up, we could have given you a call! Failing that we have phones?
