Setting Sail

We're off up to the Outer Hebrides tomorrow to spend the week with my sister. As always when I have to sail, I've been checking the weather forecast for days. The shipping forecast today says:

Wind: Cyclonic 4 or 5, decreasing 3 at times, becoming northwest 5 or 6 later.
Sea State: Moderate or rough.
Weather: Occasional rain.
Visibility: Good, occasionally poor.

I think it's due to moderate again tomorrow though.

I may or may not have t'internet while I'm away. I've borrowed a new wireless modem from work which might manage to pick up a signal. I've never had any luck with 3g up there, but I live in hope!

In other news...I've just watched Retribution, so here's a picture of Archie for Easter.

Hope you have a tranquil time. Hope there is time between cyclones to sit on the beach. (or maybe during cyclones, whichever you prefer. Flying sand and sea-weed exfolient?)

My sister has a fine collection of kites so we can make good use of the cyclonic conditions! I could do without the "moderate or rough" seas though :}

I didn't indeed see naked Matthews and I think he looks just fine! Though perhaps not quite as fine as semi-naked JB ;)
