Suspicious packages :)

I've been away for a few days (of which more later) and when I arrived home tonight there was not one but two packages waiting for me! The first was a lovely little nautical parcel from mylodon's travels in the US. Thank you m'dear, toots absolutely adores her pirate booty and I promise to follow the instructions on the sailors log to the letter! ;)

The second package was from the lovely katriona_s and contained a fascinating, and very tasty, selection of "suspicious" looking green Japanese sweeties. (In case you're wondering about such suspicious delights, have a look at katriona_s post here.) Daughter was utterly fascinated by them and insisted on opening all the packets to try every one! We both agreed that they are very tasty indeed and that there should be more green sweeties here in the UK :)

You know toots is right, you don't get many green sweeties here! I'm surprised as green surely has connotations of health! I see a gap in the market...

You certainly don't get many green tea flavoured sweeties here! They are very tasty though, I can highly recommend them. Are you coming home any time soon? I could pinch some back from toots and save them for you :P

Not till the end of October, and I wouldn't dream of depriving toots, she'll soon be bigger than me and might remember. :p

Green sweets are the best. I offer in evidence jelly babies, wine gums and fruit pastilles!

I'm afraid when it comes to jelly babies, wine gums or fruit pastilles I go for the black and red ones first. Toots goes for the green ones!

She absolutely adores her pirate booty. She was going to take it to school today but she was afraid she might loose it so she put it carefully in a little treasure chest and left it at home XD
