They're rather clever aren't they?! And the strange thing about them is that they actually get freakier the closer you get! I think they do actually do lantern lit walks round the woods here at Halloween :}

Sort of. They're actually polished metal of some kind. They're very effective, no matter how close you get to them they still look quite other-worldly!

I think they're a permanent installation. I remember reading about them a couple years ago so I was quite surprised to find that they're still there. I thought they looked like something from an episode of Dr Who!
