Hello! I'm back! Well, not that I've been away, just busy with work. Hope to catch up with post and comments over the weekend.

So what have you guys been up to then? We had snow earlier on in the week. Two whole inches of it! It looked very pretty while it lasted but it was gone before the morning was out.

So glad you are back. we are supposed to get walloped with a foot of snow by Sunday. it is just starting now.

My brother in Boston may get 2 feet! They are saying it may be as bad the blizzard of 1978. I doubt that, but it is going to snow.

it should be a quiet weekend for us, no need to shovel, we can just stay inside and read, (or write.)

Your snow pictures are so pretty. It will be lovely and clean here for about 2 minutes and then just gross.

How is the snow today? The conditions look incredible from some of the news reports. Toots is very jealous. She keeps saying that it's not fair that we don't get snow like that! :}

You are come home, I find. I had been getting worried about you and your work.

Our weather cannot quite decide which way to go. Three weeks ago we had snow and ice, Ten days ago we had spring and nearly sat outside for an icecream, and since Thursday we have snow and ice again.
*sighs*
Thank goodness, I do not have to drive anywhere.

We have had winter and spring in rotation too. We had beautiful weather upe here a few weeks ago, when the south of England was under a blanket of snow. It was so nice I spent the whole day in the garden! Today it's sleeting though :/

As photos it's lovely. As the content of photos, well... *cough* Two inches, congratulations, sounds like a load of fun. Want some half meter? :} No kidding, that was through what I waded in Thursday on the way to work, and today it's still more white than not-white around...

Yes, two inches hardly really counts as snow does it? :} Still, there was enough for the kids to have a decent snowball fight!

I suspect if we got half a metre of snow here the entire country would shut down!

Yes, daughter has to catch the school bus before the crack of dawn, after I drop her off at the bus stop, I get to walk through the park to work and watch the sun coming up. It almost makes up for having to get up so early. Almost, but not quite :P

It's amazing how even a light dusting of snow transforms the most familiar scenes, there really is something quite magical about it.
