How did you get an authentic AOS photo of the little tyke?
And, in sort of related stuff, we were watching TV today and they had the "True or False weird animal facts" thing, which you may have seen, which has a cartoon star-nosed mole and pangolin presenting it. I asked Ros to suggest names and out of the blue came Archibald for the Pangolin and Bartholomew for the mole. Which was appropriate to the day.
How did you get an authentic AOS photo of the little tyke? It's amazing what you can pick up at maritime auctions if you're lucky! ;)
I asked Ros to suggest names and out of the blue came Archibald for the Pangolin and Bartholomew for the mole. Which was appropriate to the day. Archibald is a splendid name for a pangolin! I was at the Sevens yesterday and there was a ridiculously cute wee toddler called Archie sitting beside me :)
We did indeed dress up. We dressed up in thermals, two pairs of socks, jerseys, fleeces, hats scarves, waterproofs and by the end of the afternoon, we'd also resorted to blankets, whiskey and gingerbeer. It was bloody baltic!
We tried to persuade toots to dress up as Brave but she was having none of it :}
Aren't pangolins not exactly pattable, if my memory serves? Razor-sharp scales and all... Not that's a serious obstacle for a determined pangolin-lover, of course. Who needs so much as ten fingers anyway, really. ;D
Thank you for the birthday well wishes! Luckily, as I don't really like it, I had no cake, only chocolate, which as a responsible owner of an imaginary Victorian spaniel I don't allow Barty to have as it will make him sick!

Pffft! Since when did that ever stop Barty? Besides, what else are Lord H's hats for?
