Summer?!

Summer appeared very suddenly and unexpectedly today. Typically, after having freezing wet and windy weather for the whole bank holiday weekend, today turned out to be gorgeous. Luckily daughter's school was closed for an extra inservice day and I had already booked the day off work so we went for a spin to the Benmore Botanic Gardens in Cowal. I'll try and post some pics later in the week, but in the meantime here's an idea of what the Cowal Peninsula looks like in glorious sunshine.
