Well thank goodness for that. It appears we have a new house. Subject to missives being concluded. It's not quite the house we were looking for but it's still rather nice. On the upside it has a big grassy garden for daughter to run wild in, it has more space for books, it's right beside a park, it's convenient for work, nursery, schools, etc and it has two fruiting cherry trees at the bottom of the garden. On the down side we can't move in till the end of May, it's not quite as big as I would have liked and you can't see the hills or the masts of a tall ship from the window. However all in all it's a Nice House and it'll be a damn sight better than being homeless!

Date: 2010-03-11 06:25 pm (UTC)Must be a relief to have the process under way. My mum's a realtor and I've heard many stories from her about the crazy things that can happen in a move. Hope yours continues smoothly!

Believe me we've had our fair share of craziness up to this point. Sincerely hoping things will go smoothly form this point forward.
