Fangirling in Glasgow

Earlier today I had the very great pleasure of meeting kittycallum :D She managed to schedule a lightning stop off in Glasgow in the midst of her whirlwind tour of the UK. Glasgow, as usual, put on its best display of Scottish weather for the occasion; slate gray clouds and perpetual drizzle, so I ditched any thought of sightseeing and we went straight for lunch. We only had a couple of hours to catch up, before I had to dash off to collect daughter from school and Kitty headed off to Edinburgh and on down the East Coast Line to Northumbria. It was a lovely afternoon though and it was fabulous to hear all about Kitty's travels and to learn how to build an improvised sailing boat from a kayak and a jersey!

I was also green with envy to hear about her sister's trip to the Ottawa comic con to meet Jamie Bamber. And apparently she has film of his panel session! *faints* Kitty m'dear, we're counting on you to get that online. Do your duty ma'am! As Kitty was not able to get to the con herself I presented her with this by way of compensation...
