Seasick at Spithead

Tomorrow I am off up to the Hebrides for a week. I've been stupidly busy at work, as usual, and I've got piles of travel lined up when I come back so I'm looking forward to a break. Look at the damn forecast though!!! Severe gales and high or very high seas. Joy of joys! Not.

Believe it or not, I am uncharacteristically abstemious at sea. I rarely indulge, unless is us absolutely flat calm. Mind you, maybe that's where I've been going wrong all these years! ;)

Yep, they sure do! The ferry does go off frequently when there are storm warnings but it sailed in a force 9 last night. See my last post if you want to share the experience :}

We actually had blue skies for some of the way across last night! It would actually have been a very pleasant evening if there hadn't been a gale blowing. It certainly was sporty though! ;)

We went by ferry, which is how we usually go. We only go by plane once in a blue moon because the flights are so expensive!
