Fannish Tendencies

So, the kittens are settling in well, they're much less nervous and much more approachable, however you won't be surprised to hear that they're causing complete chaos. So far they have attacked several cushions, wrecked the curtains, smashed a ceramic pot I carefully carried back from Cuba twenty years ago, and chewed holes in daughter's homework. Twice. They have also interrupted several of my work calls by thundering around the house. My work colleagues are convinced I have adopted a herd of ponies, rather than two small kittens. Of course they are also so adorable that is completely impossible to get mad with them :}

The boy, who daughter has now named Josh (after this guy, because he is big and furry XD) is showing distinctly fannish tendencies. Daughter has been laid up with a bug for the last couple of days so she has been parked on the couch watching films, much to the kitten's delight. He seems to be rather intrigued by Harry Potter and thoroughly enjoyed trying to catch the eagles at the end of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I haven't let him watch Hornblower yet, I'm not sure I want him getting his paws on the lieutenants XD

I have removed several ceramics, but alas there is little I can do for my poor curtains! However one of the kittens has taken to sitting on my lap while I work so I can forgive them anything :}

Blue Cat is not entirely impressed so far. I may have to move his sleeping box to the top landing, since he slept on top of the boxes of filing outside my bedroom last night.
