I know I've posted dozens of pictures of Culzean over the years but it is such a glorious place* I hope you'll forgive me for posting a new more. We've been having a gorgeous autumn up here which more than makes up for the crappy summer. (Hey look [livejournal.com profile] aletheiafelinea! I caught a butterfly! Perhaps not as glamorous as your fabulous beasties but still rather cute :)

Great pics as always! I'm partial to the silhouetted one in the lower left corner. It would be great on the cover of a book, possibly some epic historical novel.

Late reply is late...I wouldn't be a tall surprised if Culzean has already graced the covers of several historical novels. It's a pretty epic place!

Aww, Peacock! And how proudly posing! Butterflies are always glamorous! :D

I see some amazing skies here. And these castles and gardens look so serene in the warm sunlight. I especially love the photo through the window, and the wild(?) flowers. So many colours in one place!

I was rather proud of my Peacock and I though of you when I was taking the picture :)

Culzean is a glorious place. No matter what time of year you go, there is always something beautiful to photograph. The wild flowers are actually artfully sown flower borders. I spent ages talking to the gardner who explained how he grew them :)

*blushes fervently* I'm glad I was with you on this hunt! :D

Haha, I think it's most difficult to make a garden pretend it's not a garden. ;D

Oh yes! I am sure you helped with this hunt :) and yes, it takes a lot of work to make a garden looks this wild and natural!

While I was there I couldn't help thinking of that remix I wrote of your wonderful story Under The Sky.

Beautiful as always! I really must visit this castle some day ... hopefully on my next trip to Scotland! Do they have the public transportation to get there?

Oh yes! You really must visit Culzean next time you're in Scotland. I'm not sure how easy it is to get there by public transport, but I'm sure we could take you there :)
