Every year, when daughter was small, she would leave out a glass of milk and something sweet for Santa on Christmas Eve. (Along with a carrot for Rudolph of course.) Last year she decided Santa deserved a glass of wine instead of milk. Hallelujah! This year however Santa is getting a glass of cranberry juice because, as toots pointed out, he shouldn't drink wine while driving the sleigh. I tentatively suggested that the reindeer could probably drive themselves, but she was having none of it :}

Meanwhile, Niko has been stealing Christmas presents and opening them. Little thief!

It isn't the glass of wine at your house that would do Santa in... it's the other 74 million glasses (or) more at everyone else's.

Very sensible of toots, Santa is probably too busy for loo breaks and cranberry juice will help ward off uti's!

What a dear and responsible girl! And obviously a good brain on her too. I like the idea of Santa protected from UTIs...

Nico has a look of outraged innocence I think. Could she have been framed? Somebody put that gift right there by her paw while she was doing nothing wrong at all!
