anteros_lmcFinally incontrovertible evidence that Archie didn't die tragically and heroically in Kingston.
He is in fact alive and well, living in Manchester and running a "shake bar" on Oxford Road!
I nearly fell over myself when I spotted this classy joint on the way to a meeting earlier this week. When I first saw it from across the street I thought it was a gay bar and I have to confess I was rather disappointed to discover it's a faux American milkshake bar!!
Btw when googling this establishment I also came across the American kids' cartoon Archie's Weird Mysteries. According to wikipedia Archie is a "redhead student at Riverdale High, reporter for the school newspaper". My goodness he did have a varied career after leaving the navy!
How pointless is this post?? None more pointless, that's how pointless it is!

You see the name Archie and immediately thinks its associated with a Mr Kennedy of the same common name which is one of the more common names in the UK. ;)
