Oh all right then ;) I got tagged by sarlania and answered in her comments because I was too shy to answer here. Then I got tagged again by thehappyreturn so:



1. I was born and brought up in the Outer Hebrides in the far north west of Scotland.

2. I worked in archaeology for about ten years. I now do something that is less interesting, less muddy, pays better and doesn't bugger your knees up.

3. I _adore_ lettuce. It seems to have the same effect on me as chocolate does on other people. (Yes really!)

4. I have a large tattoo on my lower back but I took most of my piercings out when my daughter was born four years ago.

5. I dance Argentine tango and I do it very well.

6. I am very much a "winter person".

7. As a result of a teenage sea canoeing accident I know what it feels like to _almost_ drown. It was strangely peaceful and I can still picture the sun shimmering down through the blue water. (Hmm, that gives me an idea for a fic...)

It was a very strange experience, I wasn't at all afraid until someone hoiked me out of the water. _Then_ it was utterly terrifying.

It's a sort of tribal type thing I drew myself. It goes from hip to hip and, umm, downwards. It's dark blue, pale blue and purple and it's quite pretty but it rarely sees the light of day ;)

Also, scary about the drowning! I'm glad you're still with us.

That's very cool. I don't have any tattoos myself because I'm a wuss because my husband doesn't like them and most tattoo inks have animal products in them. In an ideal world, though, I'd have a dragon coiled around my arm.
