The state of my home internet connection is such to preclude my being able as yet to flatter myself with the possibility of complying with your wishes to write that 10,000 word pwp pirate / maritime historian epic slash fic.

Yep, my home internet connection suddenly died a death last night and it could be Tuesday before we get it fixed. *sigh* I have internet here at work but I will be leaving shortly, once I have downloaded some lovely fic from following_sea to keep me going over the weekend.

Thanks for all your highly appropriate comments on the charming maritime historians. Your outrage warms the cockles of my heart :) Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with comments next week.
