Did I miss something?

I've been so stupidly busy at work recently that I haven't had a chance to have a walk in the park for almost a month. I've been doing a lot of traveling too and the seasons have changed while I've been away. The last time I walked through the park the pink cherries weren't yet in bloom, now the flowers are falling in drifts all over the paths. It's lovely, but I seem to have missed something somewhere along the line!

Yes that's a very good way to describe it!

Sadly no signs of serenity in the immediate future. Work is a real drag at the moment, but at least I'm getting paid, which is something.

I think the cherry blossom may have been relatively fleeting this year, if that's a consolation?

Even allowing for being away, the cherry blossom did seem gone in the blink of an eye this year.

Oh ... how beautiful!! You might missed something, but these falling flowers are more beautiful than them in full bloom, I feel.
