Completely and utterly deranged

anteros_lmcOh my fucking god. I knew fandom could be, shall we say, a little strange but I had no idea just how strange until I stumbled across this. This is just beyond weird, and wrong on so many levels that I don't even know where to start.
EDIT: Sadly this video has been locked :( I did wonder if it was prime material for a cease and desist request. Shame. It really was an extraordinary piece of work. I have no doubt that kleghacat will go far.
That someone came up with this crazy idea in the first place and then put such obvious time and effort into producing it just astonishes me. It also happens to be very, very funny in a sort of "wtf? I can not believe I'm seeing this" kind of way. And one of the funniest things about it is the intro to the notes: "I thought, Archie doesn't get a girl in the series Hornblower, so I thought I'd give him one :)" Umm....true, no girl, but did you not notice the tall brunette, sweetie?
And did I mention that it has a plot? Omg it has a plot.
Anyway, without further ado, allow me the dubious pleasure of presenting, from the outer realms of fandom, that rare genre the Hornblower - Little Mermaid crossover and some of the strangest "slash" you'll ever see, ladies and gentlewomen I give you.... Archie/Ariel (yes... really!)

Disclaimer: I've friends locked this post because even though I think this is the work of a crazed genius, it's not nice to be rude about other people's creative endeavours in public. I couldn't produce a video if my life depended on it and I'm quite sure that kleghacat would think my attempts at fic are equally, if not more so, deranged. I still think it's mad though!

This was pretty well done, for such a weird pairing.
It's _very_well done! It really did have me laughing out loud. Some of the cuts are very clever.
I'm surprised the tall brunette wasn't more upset about the whole thing! :D
I think that wee mermaid should watch her back. Horatio is known as a good swimmer after all!

Is it wrong I think Bush and Pochanontas would make an awesome couple? I'm also reminded of a great 'alternate endings to Retribution' crack fic where one was 'the Mulan ending'. Archie was Mulan. :D

'the Mulan ending'
Despite having a 4 yr old daughter I'm not hugely au fait with disney. However Mulan is one that I do know and I seem to remember that the ending involves cross dressing. Hmn?
